There's no place like home for the Louisburg Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 53-41 victory over J.F. Webb on Friday. For Louisburg, this counts as revenge for the 70-69 loss J.F. Webb walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Ronald Kearney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Jamareon Strickland was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Loss or not, J.F. Webb got some senior leadership from Jabari Hunter who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and Micah Allen who scored ten points along with three steals. Allen also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Barnette, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Louisburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for J.F. Webb, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Louisburg will be home for the holidays to greet Bunn at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bunn and Louisburg are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. J.F. Webb will be home for the holidays to greet Southern Nash at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Southern Nash focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
