Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Lincoln suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-49 walloping at the hands of West Park.
Meanwhile, Nevada Union pushed their score all the way to 67 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ponderosa. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (60), Nevada Union still had to take the loss.
Lincoln's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8. As for Nevada Union, they dropped their record down to 13-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Lincoln beat Nevada Union 57-46 in their previous meeting on January 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
