The Navajo Prep Eagles can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Thursday. They breezed by Newcomb at home  to the tune of  81-21. Winning may never get old, but Navajo Prep sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
 Leading Navajo Prep to victory were  Orion King and  Xavier Nez.  King  scored 16 points along with eight  rebounds, while  Nez  scored 16 points along with five  steals. Nez has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last seven times he's  played.  Jude Thomas was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with five  assists and three  steals.
  Roydell Edison and  Mikal Ashley certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Edison  scored five points, while  Ashley  scored four points.
 Navajo Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Newcomb, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Navajo Prep will  face off against the Cougars at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Tohatchi's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six contests. As for Newcomb, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Hawks at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in New Mexico (Thoreau is ranked 94th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 71st).
