In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 53-52 win over Fullington Academy. For Windsor Academy, this counts as revenge for the 49-45 loss Fullington Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Windsor Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reed Barr, who scored 19 points. Mason Merrit was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Windsor Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fullington Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Windsor Academy will head out on the road to face off against Strong Rock Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Strong Rock Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Fullington Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Terrell Academy at 8:00 p.m.
