The Northwest Yeshiva Lions lost against the Muckleshoot Tribal Kings back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Northwest Yeshiva took a 67-53 bruising from Muckleshoot Tribal. Northwest Yeshiva has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Northwest Yeshiva saw an underclassman step up: Sam Weichbrodt scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Chernicoff, who scored ten points.
Northwest Yeshiva has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
Northwest Yeshiva will be playing at home against Summit Classical Christian School at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday. Summit Classical Christian School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, they will head out on the road to take on Northwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
