It was a proper cat-fight when Hamilton faced off against Calhoun City on Monday. The Lions put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 14-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 17-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Calhoun City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

Hamilton will square off against Caledonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Calhoun City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
