Vasquez's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zack Van Ornum, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also threw for 79 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Van Ornum a new career-high in passer rating (116.3). Vasquez also got a significant boost from Blake Mascon, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 122 yards.
