Tecumseh is 2-8 against Dexter since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Indians will host the Dreadnaughts at 6:00 p.m. Tecumseh knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Dexter likes a good challenge.
Tecumseh barely beat Western the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians blew past the Panthers 13-7 on Thursday.
Max Roehrig tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Clement, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Palmer Ziemer, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Tecumseh kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 8.8.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Dexter's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 5-1 to Lincoln. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Dexter saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Sobbry, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Tecumseh has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dexter, their loss dropped their record down to 21-8.
Tecumseh suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Dexter in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
