Arroyo Valley got a massive performance out of Leilanny Limon, who went 4-for-5 with three runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Limon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aileen Nava, who got on base in five of her nine plate appearances with two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Arroyo Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive contests.
The victory got Arroyo Valley back to even at 8-8-2. As for Fontana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
