The Harrison Wildcats waltzed into their match Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Norwood with points to spare, taking the game 62-44.
Harrison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alli Robertson, who scored 21 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Robertson has scored at least 25% of Harrison's points. Maggie Seiter was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Harrison pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Norwood, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.
Harrison will head out on the road to face off against Talawanda at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Talawanda will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Harrison is ranked 146th). As for Norwood, they will be playing at home against Roger Bacon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Roger Bacon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
