Frontenac has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Riverton Rams on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Frontenac pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-58 to Parsons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), Frontenac still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Riverton came up short against the Titans on Tuesday and fell 45-38.
Frontenac has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Riverton, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Frontenac took their victory against the Rams in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 67-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Frontenac since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
