Clover Park had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Lindbergh 64-16. Clover Park was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Clover Park a 1-0 record and starting Lindbergh off at 0-1.
Clover Park will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Highline at 7:00 PM. As for Lindbergh, they will face off against Franklin Pierce.
