On Monday, Gardendale earned a 45-36 victory over Helena.
Helena's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brooklyn Kelly, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Grant, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds.
Gardendale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Helena, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardendale will take on Mortimer Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Helena won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Chelsea is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
