When it comes to explaining why Centura lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hope Mcdonald. Despite the final result, she scored eight points. Mcdonald continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kailey Coghlan, who scored nine points.
Howells-Dodge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Centura, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-4.
