Wyalusing Valley can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cowanesque Valley Indians  a   12-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wyalusing Valley also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
  Cj Carr was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Carr was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Kenny Mapes was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Hunter House, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Wyalusing Valley has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season. As for Cowanesque Valley,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyalusing Valley will take on Sayre at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Wyalusing Valley is facing Sayre at the right time seeing as Sayre is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Cowanesque Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Towanda at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
