 On the hitting side,  Nick Flores was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marco Gonzales, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Sinton's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Uvalde, they now  have a losing record at 15-16-2.
 Sinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against Uvalde: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
