The Waldron Mohawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Herron 68-28 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Waldron who now have four in a row.
Waldron's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Douglas, who scored 14 points along with six assists and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Shaw, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Waldron now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Herron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Waldron is on the road again on Thursday and play against Tri-Central at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Herron will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Morristown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morristown is on a four-game streak of home losses, Herron a seven-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
