Viewmont and West Field squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Viewmont had to settle for second. They fell  41-34 to the Longhorns. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.
 Jack Savage threw for 314 yards and a pair of  TDs.   Jayson Dunroe was his top target, picking up 224 receiving yards and three  touchdowns.  On the ground,  Benji Tolman rushed for 79 yards and one  score.
 A big part of West Field's  win came down to the chemistry between  Easton Eilertson and his top target  Gavin Ortegon. Eilertson threw for 240 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 74.3% of his passes while  Ortegon picked up 111 receiving yards and four  TDs. The dominant performance also gave  Eilertson a new career-high in  rushing yards (28). A healthy portion of  Eilertson's aerial production (91 yards to be exact) also went to  Kolt Abbott.
Viewmont's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
 Viewmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Field, they will challenge Box Elder at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
