Kimball waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs with a sharp 70-49 victory. The Longhorns pushed the score to 58-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Fightin' Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Haxtun lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Colin Cone, who posted nine points and six rebounds. Chase Goddard was another key player, putting up ten points.

Kimball pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Haxtun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
