Dresden dropped their record down to 7-11 on Saturday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Bradford Red Devils by a score of 9-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 back in March.

As for Bradford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch.

For Bradford's part, the team relied heavily on Brodie McDaniel, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs McDaniel has posted since back in April. Dylan Brauer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Dresden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bradford, they will head out to challenge Middle College on Wednesday.
