Providence Hall has gone a perfect 8-0 against Summit Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Alysa Marcek was a standout: she fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 4-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Johnson, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and three doubles.
Marcek wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Providence Hall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Summit Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. Ellie Sylvia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season. Another player making a difference was Maddisyn Christensen, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Given Providence Hall's sizable advantage in that area, Summit Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
