 On the hitting side,  Luke Warzynski was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. He has become a key player for Middlesex: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  one  home run, but 4-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Thomas Donahue, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Meanwhile, St. George's was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  10-1 to Thayer Academy.
 St. George's saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Harry Pachios, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double. That  double was  Pachios' first of the season.
 Middlesex's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for St. George's, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
 Middlesex took their  win against St. George's  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middlesex since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
