It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Valley Mills Eagles can now relate to. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 64-14 on Friday.
When it comes to explaining why Valley Mills lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Woodrome. Despite the final result, he picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Hayden Hilliard was his usual excellent self, throwing for 333 yards and five touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground for Tioga. Jonathan Hernandez and his 105 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Tioga's victory.
Valley Mills' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Tioga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Valley Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tioga is on the road again on Friday and play against Marlin at 1:00 p.m. on November 24th. Marlin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.
