The Bunker Eagles came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Bismarck with a sharp 55-35 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bunker also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Bismarck's loss came despite strong showings from Daven Miller and Sven Wilson. Miller scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds, while Wilson scored 11 points. The game was Wilson's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Bunker's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bismarck, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunker will take on Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bismarck will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fredericktown at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
