The Upper Scioto Valley Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arcadia. Upper Scioto Valley has not had much luck with the Redskins recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brielle Cotterman, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Layla Hunsicker, who scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Upper Scioto Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Arcadia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Scioto Valley will face off against the Polar Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arcadia, they will head out on the road to challenge the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
