In what's become a running theme this season, the Africentric Early College Nubians gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-5 victory over West at home. The victory was familiar territory for Africentric Early College who now have ten in a row.
Africentric Early College had a senior duo take command as Natiah Nelson scored 14 points along with three steals and Kamryn Grant scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Shaunie Little, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Africentric Early College pushed their record up to 17-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Africentric Early College will face off against the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion-Franklin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for West, they will head out on the road to challenge the 76ers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
