Scales Mound won the last time they faced Benton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Zephyrs by a score of 2-0.

Scales Mound easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16.

Ellaina Kostenbader paced Scales Mound's offense, picking up six kills. Kostenbader got some help from Campbell Hereau and her 19 assists. Grace Behlke controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Scales Mound has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for Benton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
