The Diego Rivera Huskies pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 95-60 loss at the hands of Manual Arts. Diego Rivera was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.
Loss or not, Diego Rivera got some senior leadership from Cameron Cole and Izaya New. Cole scored 12 points, while New. scored 12 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manual Arts to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devin Moody, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 18 rebounds. Moody is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last 18 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Songhai Glover, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Diego Rivera's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Manual Arts, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
