Middletown has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Walkersville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Middletown posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They had just enough and edged Urbana out 52-49.
Meanwhile, Walkersville's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They strolled past Governor Thomas Johnson with points to spare, taking the game 58-40.
Middletown is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Walkersville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
Middletown took their victory against Walkersville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 64-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middletown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
