After flying high against the Austin Panthers on Tuesday, the Mountain View Lobos came back down to earth. Mountain View was the victim of a rough 75-52 defeat at the hands of Del Valle on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain View in their matchups with Del Valle: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Jared Maciel, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathew Saucedo, who scored 20 points.
Mountain View has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Del Valle, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
