Ponchatoula stacked  a  15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hammond Tornadoes  a   19-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Ponchatoula sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
  Sydni Stanga made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Stanga has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Stanga was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Abby Dagro was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Rae'el Wheat was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Ponchatoula has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record  this season. As for Hammond, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-18.
 Ponchatoula does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammond, they will head out on the road to  face off against  St. Scholastica at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
