Ivan Wilkinson posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He is becoming a predictor of Sand Creek's success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is undefeated (and 5-7 when he doesn't).

Wilkinson's strong effort led Sand Creek over Erie-Mason and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
