Basketball Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Mason Rogers and Reagan Wodicka

If High Point Baptist Academy was feeling good fresh off their 59-14 takedown of Meadowbrook Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The High Point Baptist Academy Eagles took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Antietam Mountaineers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now lost five in a row.

High Point Baptist Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Reagan Wodicka and Mason Rogers. Wodicka went 8 for 11 en route to 19 points and five rebounds, while Rogers went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and eight boards. Those 19 points gave Wodicka a new career-high.

It was another big night for Julious Williams, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds for Antietam. Williams is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was AJ Scheifley, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.

High Point Baptist Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Antietam, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
