Jordan King Goes Supernova in Refugio Victory
Starting off the list is Refugio's Jordan King, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. King rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns. King is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Refugio pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. King and Refugio will face off against Skidmore-Tynan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

His longest reception was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

A Season-Best Effort from Miguel Alaniz Leads Santa Maria over Skidmore-Tynan
Santa Maria was led to victory by Miguel Alaniz, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Alaniz threw for 146 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 52 yards.
For the season, Alaniz has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 96.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 12.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 36.5 rushing yards.
