Auburn extended the longest winning streak in Southern Worcester County - A this week by beating Tantasqua Regional, 30-7. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Grafton Memorial's dynamic duo of Connor McVey and Cody Munoz proved tough for Oxford/Sutton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McVey threw for 46 yards and one touchdown and Munoz had 27 yards receiving. Connor Rynning helped Grafton Memorial's passing attack out by catching one ball for 19 yards.
The Rams' Drew Ravenelle and Brad Picard have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Ravenelle has thrown for 108 yards this season, while Picard has two catches for 60 yards. The Indians' Munoz leads the league in rushing yards with 524.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Auburn takes on Grafton Memorial. At the moment, Jeff Cormier's team is in first, while Michael Ross' team is in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Rockets take on the Indians. Auburn has allowed 41 points this season, while Grafton Memorial has given up 48.
The Warriors made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,794 from 7,445. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 30-7 victory over Tantasqua Regional last week.
