The Dayton Broncos lost against the Crosby Cougars back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Dayton was dealt a 62-25 defeat at the hands of Crosby. Dayton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-11.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosby to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lamaya Clark, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emori Lasalle, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
The last time Dayton won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 3-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Crosby, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
Dayton will head out on the road to face off against Navasota at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Crosby, they will take on Odessa at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Odessa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
