Farmington extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 7-1 in the process. They put the hurt on the Lakeville North Panthers with a sharp 13-6 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.
Olivia Peterson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lila Johannsen, who went 3-for-5 with seven RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayley Schuenemann, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
