The Custer County Bobcats will take on the South Park Burros at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Custer County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Custer County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Centennial on Thursday as they made off with a 29-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.
Wyatt Grundy made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Grundy was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Custer County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-6 otherwise.

Blake Basnett was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Custer County pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for South Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Everything went Custer County's way against South Park when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Custer County made off with a 9-2 victory. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Burros turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
