While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Israel Rangel. He was excellent on Wednesday, getting 14 aces and 12 assists. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.4 aces per game. Those 12 assists gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Imperial Tigers face off against Brawley Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
