There's no place like home for the Agua Dulce Longhorns, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Ben Bolt on Tuesday. For Agua Dulce, this counts as revenge for the 52-43 loss Ben Bolt walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2017.
Agua Dulce can attribute much of their success to Avery Calvez, who scored 14 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Calvez has scored at least 25% of Agua Dulce's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Deaver, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Agua Dulce is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Ben Bolt, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8.
Agua Dulce will take on Runge at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ben Bolt, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Gertrudis Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
