Lighthouse Baptist Academy had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Victory Christian Academy Eagles 70-49 on Saturday. The Ambassadors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Hays, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds. Wyatt Bowman was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Lighthouse Baptist Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
