BASIS - Mesa can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past New Way Learning Academy 55-32. The victory was familiar territory for BASIS - Mesa who now have eight in a row.
BASIS - Mesa had a senior duo take command as Cayden Plese dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds and Matteo Huish almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Plese is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Robert Muniz was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
BASIS - Mesa pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for New Way Learning Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. BASIS - Mesa will take on the at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Way Learning Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m.
