Wyatt Beddes Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Shepherd's Wyatt Beddes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Beddes rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Jake Cook's Big Game Leads Joliet over Colstrip
Jake Cook's big game helped extend Joliet's winning streak to three on Thursday. Colstrip had no answer to Cook as he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 72 receiving yards. Cook didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Joliet pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Cook and Joliet will challenge Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Huntley Project Gets a Boost from Schmidt in 36-0 Win
Grady Schmidt was instrumental in extending Huntley Project's winning streak to three on Friday. Schmidt did his part (and then some), rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 136 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Schmidt has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 117.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 44.67 rushing yards per game.

Juhnke Posts Huge Game in 49-7 Win
Kaden Juhnke put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Thursday. He rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made five total tackles.
On the season, Juhnke has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 137 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.
