AAAA Region III recap September 17, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in AAAA Region III this week, Northwestern beat Byrnes 42-35,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Lancaster moved up to 100 from 127 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bruins climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Central 24-21.
Rogan Wells and Rogan Wells gave Fort Mill a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Wells threw for 104 yards, while Wells ran for 85 yards. DeRyan Sanders also contributed to the rushing game with 51 yards on the ground.

Wells put up the best numbers through the air as Fort Mill fell to Ridge View. Wells' favorite target this week was Brandon Plyler, who caught 4 passes for 53 yards.
Nick McCloud was the best wideout in AAAA Region III this week as South Pointe fell to Spartanburg. McCloud racked up 4 receptions for 55 yards. DeShawn Davis helped South Pointe's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 37 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Anthony Johnson. The South Pointe star has 16 catches for 463 yards.
Rock Hill fell to Dutch Fork 63-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
