After losing to Kearney the last time they met, Westview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westview Wolverines walked away with  a   59-52  victory over the Kearney Bearcats  on Friday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wolverines.
 Westview had a senior duo take command as  John Sims IV  went 6-for-9  to rack up 19 points along with seven  boards and three  steals and  Amir Martin  posted 18  points and three  steals. Another player making a difference was  Tayvin Zephier-Murphy, who  earned eight  points and seven  rebounds.
 Kearney's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Ben Johnson, who  went 8-for-12  en route to 22 points and seven  boards, and  Jacob Webber, who  went 9-for-19  on his way to 23  points and six  rebounds. That was a full 44.2% of Kearney's points, marking the third time in a row  Webber has  scored  more than a third of the team's points.
