Las Cruces was led to victory by Danae Pacheco and Janessa Navarrete. Pacheco scored 19 points, while Navarrete scored 20 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Yamilet Nunez, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Las Cruces' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cibola, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
