St. Anthony and Effingham squared off in some playoff action  on Tuesday, but St. Anthony had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hearts by a score of  2-1. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

 Leading Effingham to victory were  Macy Kirk and  Averie Wolfe.  Kirk  had 15  digs, while  Wolfe  had nine  digs and one  assist. Those  15  digs gave  Kirk a new career-high.
St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 28-6. As for Effingham, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 22-14.
