Enterprise has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Holmes County Blue Devils at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Enterprise earned a 47-37 victory over Straughn.
Meanwhile, even though Freeport scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Holmes County still came out on top. Holmes County enjoyed a cozy 72-56 victory over Freeport. With that win, Holmes County brought their scoring average up to 57 points per game.
Emma Whitkaer went supernova for Holmes County, scoring 36 points along with 9 rebounds. Whitkaer is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Emma Oost was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Holmes County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Enterprise suffered a grim 60-38 defeat to Holmes County in their previous matchup back in December of 2019. Can Enterprise avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
