Garner won the last time they faced South Garner and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Garner were the better team in the second half.

Lily Ridge was the driving force of Garner's attack as she scored both of Garner's goals, bringing her season total up to 11 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Garner and bumps their season record up to 5-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for South Garner, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13-1.
