It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Holmes County Central Jaguars can now relate to. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (34-21), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Holmes County Central still got an impressive performance from Garrison Davis, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Holmes County Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-1. As for West Point, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
